Doesn't this sound like an amazing idea? I am not talking about some sort of Hollywood remake. No, not at all. That is not what I want. That is not what we are talking about here. I am talking about you and I making the remake, Company. Because you know that Ferris Bueller's Day Off is one of those movies that, if you are a dude, you sat around trying to figure out how all your friends fit in. Kind of like Animal House or Super Troopers. The problem though is that I could never figure out where I go in Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I know that I am not Ferris. I am not even close to being cool enough for that, and I don't look good in a hat. And I don't like to run so I would never be able to pull off that super smooth move when he's running home through the neighborhood.
I could see myself as Cameron though. I mean, sometimes when I get into my car I sit and talk to myself and freak out like he did. And I am just about always scared to not play be the rules. But you can drag me into the kind of shenanegans that they get into pretty easily. Just ask David Nathaniel. He talked me into hiding in Guy's truck in about 16 seconds after I had talked myself out of it. And much like Cameron, I am a little bit emo sometimes, and I take roughly the whole movie to figure myself out. Also, I am devilishly handsome. So how do you feel about that?
Alright, so here is the plan. Someone out there reading this has to be in the entertainment business somehow. Or has access to some better than normal camera equipment. Or something. I am serious. Let's get on this. Let's get a government grant or something. I want to do a sweet remake of Ferris Bueller's Day Off with all my friends and some professional camera equipment so it looks good up on the big screen. We can do it in a week and it will be FUN. FREAKING AWESOME FUN! Just think about it. It will be. And you're going to be in it.
